<aside> 💡 Brian organizes content according to the following hierarchies:
A course is Brian’s top level of content. Each course has a time-frame attached to it (usually a semester). It can be repeated as often as you wish.
A course can be divided into any number of sections. Brian calls these sub-units modules. They serve to organize content in an intuitive manner. In most cases, the module structure will mirror the sequence of lectures. This means that each lecture gets its own module.
On Brian, the modules look like individual mountains. In the example below, the modules are marked in red.
Modules, in turn, contain topics. Any number of topics can be created. A topic is the lowest level of organization; it is here that the actual study questions are embedded. Our research has proven that about 30-50 questions per topic is the ideal size for an exciting and efficient learning experience.
